Moving

Moving

We have just started our first cell group meeting, January 16, 2008, for the leaders of our youth group. It was great, all of us testified what God has done in our lives and everyone is encouraged. As our cell group goes on, the Holy Spirit led us to worship God and then to pray for each other, mainly to the leaders who have prayer requests. Some of us have been discouraged and spiritually dry in the past few days, but God moved and touched us! Some of us have seen visions, and we know that it is from God!

And now, God is really moving in our youth group. We just have started our Campus Ministry in AMACC, and in La Salette College and it is great, God is really blessing us. We're praying that we'll also have a campus ministry in STI, ULSHS, SICAT, Santiago City National Highschool, NC, IJMS, AMACLC, Sable, and other public and private schools. Please pray for us as we start this ministry in every school[some schools are catholic], coz we just don't want this ministry to be ordinary, we want this ministry to be a vessel of God's honor, glory, blessing, power, and where the Holy Spirit can move freely and most specially a place we're youths will lay down their lives at the foot of the Cross!

And one thing more, God is opening up more doors for us. Right now, one of the teachers of our youth in AMACC is requesting her student, one of our youth, to share God's word at De Vera's Hospital this friday, January 18, 2008. Isn't that great, please pray for her! :D, and we're praying for more leaders and God is raising up more leaders and we're so glad that God is really moving in our lives! There's nothing better than living your life for the Lord you know! :D, Have an extraordinary blessed day! :D, Godblezyol!

for at the proper time we will reap a harvest

if we do not give up."

God of Many Chances

God of Many Chances

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23, we can't deny that we are all sinners: liars, gossipers, idolaters, sexually immoral, and all of the like [see Galatians 5:19-22, I Corinthians 6:9-10, Revelation 21:8] and it is said in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death,..." Not Just death in the body, but everlasting death of our souls in hell, were there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth! But God is a God of many chances!!!

"though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand" Psalm 37:24. Sometimes we, Christians, can't stop from sinning and the guilt we feel is so great that we feel like we can't go on for the Lord. But God is a God of many chances, even if we fall 7 times we will rise again 7 times over, "for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again,.." Proverbs 24:16. God upholds us and no one can can snatch us out of His hands. "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand." John 10:28

If you feel like you can't go on for the Lord, remember His words, His promises to you. He is faithful, "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6, and He will finish what He has started in you. Take heart brother/sister, remember that we have a good God and He is faithful, He forgives, He hears, He molds, He changes, He transforms us! But we must learn from the past and from others mistakes and we should move on, we must press on for the Lord. As Paul said, "Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14, Press on brother, press on, God is faithful!

"being confident of this,

that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion

until the day of Christ Jesus."

Philippians 1:6

Reviews

Reviews

There's a couple of amazing things that God has done in our youth group in the past days and we haven't posted it here in our blog so here are some reviews of it. We hope that you'll be encouraged and be blessed of what God is doing here in our youth group! :D

First, last January 2, 2008 - we've got the apportunity to pray for those who are sick in our regular hospital visitation every wednesday. It was great, many youths have joined and prayed for those who are sick. I remembered one youth [an unbeliever] saying that, "It's cool to be a Christian, praying for those who are sick and helping them, I want to be a Christian also." something like that, but isn't that great, God is really at work in our lives! To God be all the glory! :D

The second is, we've got our CCS Generations Leaders swimming fellowship, it's great but there is one thing that bothers my mind -- what have gone into their minds that they want to have a swimming fellowship, ignoring the fact that it is so so so cold at the month of January -- :D, what do you think? But it has been a great day, we've had fun and laughters all day long, hehe! :D, and it's also amazing that we have afforded the entrance and the cottage, coz frankly the money I've got on that day is only 40 pesos, whew, that's why it is amazing! :D, Yes, the Lord will provide! :D

Amazing

Amazing

First of all, we've just got our Cornerstone Church Santiago Blogsite running these past few days, the link is in Our Favorite Links [to your left then down]! don't forget to check it out! :D

Looking at the past events, it's so amazing what God has done and has been doing on each and everyone of our youths! Seeing them transformed, revived and so very on fire for the Lord is just so great! I'm so amazed how God put all things together - at the last day of our camp, we've just got our open forum [CCS Generations leaders] @ 5 am. There, God worked in our midst, hearts expressed with each other, and especially relationships redeemed. - I thank God coz He is at work in our lives, within the relationships between every leaders. I know God will do even greater things this 2008 in our youth group, in our church and in every church that loves God.

We've just made a video of what God has done in our camp at Sefton Fire Center.

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy,

to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God

- this is your spiritual act of worship. "
