What the church should be like

The church should be fun, exciting, encouraging and winning souls for the Lord. And guess what? That really happened last night. We had so much fun, laughter, challenge, merienda, excitement & our sweats were dripping with the "bring me" game. Haha. And for the climax, The one last question... - THE BIG Q - "Will everyone be in heaven?", pastor Mark brought the message and many have received the Lord, 18 to be exact! w0w woooohooooo! God is really great, our friends, first timers have received the Lord and Josiah also (w0w - God really moved in his life), just wait for the pictures I tell you! ^_^ what a super great night! And to finish it off, we sang Happy Day & the never ending ONE WAY (it has been years since we last sang it at church, haha). God has so much in store for you, just continue to walk with Him. If you don't have a personal relationship with the Lord yet, we're inviting you to pray this short prayer.

"Lord Jesus, I know that I'm a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You are the son of God & I believe that You died and after 3 days You rose again from the grave. Come into my life and my heart Lord, from this time on I make You my Lord and my Savior. Help me be the person that you want me to be starting today. Thank You Jesus. AMEN!"

Friend if you prayed that prayer, CONGRATULATIONS! You just now have made the most important decision in your life and you are now a part of the family of God, we love you. Read your Bible and pray everyday. You now have a personal relationship with Jesus and get to know Him better. Find a Bible based church or a group of people who loves the Lord. and again CONGRATULATIONS!!! ^_^ Godblez

Long Time No Blog.....

Hey guys, it has really been a long loooooonnnnnggggg time since we've blogged. Haha. Sorry for not posting, if you're the ones who are checking out our blog every once in a while or maybe everyday, we're sorry. ^_^

Well, there are so many things that have happened these past years at the church, good & bad, but the Lord is in control and we know that we are going in the right way. And right now, the church is re-structuring, so it's busy busy busy. But it is also sooooooo exciting, many exciting plans ahead. ^_^ We will keep you updated about what is/will happening, but to be honest, we don't know how it will be frequent but be assured that we will post what God has done here at Santiago. We're also thinking on having another blogsite, but for the meantime we'll use this. but we don't know. just keep updated. :D

Right now, the church is really growing. I remember pastor Mark said, if you're not being stretched, you are not growing. And now, our young people here are getting more involved at the church, this coming weeks 2 of our young people will be opening a Lifegroup, and more young people want to be involved in a lifegroup & in the worship ministry. It' all good. God is really doing great. :D

"so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
it will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:11

We believe God has given us a vision at the church, which is Saturate Santiago. And we believe God is moving & He will do what He wants in His church, in Santiago, in the Philippines & in the whole world. And we want to see it come to past. So, are you up for the challenge? what vision did God gave you? Are you just gonna be an audience or be a part of God's army? Godblez

It's All Or Nothing

It's All Or Nothing

We are in a world that demands everything, a world that's so dark, that's so evil, a world that offers us many good things but temporary. But who are we really? What do we really want as Christians? Have we forgotten who we are? have we forgotten why we are here on Earth? There are so many things, attractive & colorful things, that hinders us in our relationship with God, big or small. We must abstain from anything that is bringing us down. like paul said: "Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul." 1 Peter 2:11. We must do all that we can to abstain from these things. Where do you think you're heading right now? Heaven or Hell? The time is coming and it's near that God will separate His people from His enemies. We've got to make a stand. Where will you be when that time comes? "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us" Hebrews 12:1. Dear friends, God didn't gave His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross so that we may live our lives the way we want it to. God requires us everything! Everything!

Youth Service United

Youth Service United

Halo. :D it’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve made our last post. If you remember on our last post, we said we’ll post about our 1st anniversary of our Youth Service (May 15, 2009). Actually our youth service started on May 16 last year. But we planned that we should celebrate it on 15, that was Friday night. :D

Why did we have this by the way? Youth united. :D well, now, we have outreaches from different places like: Capayacan/Salvador; St. James, Batal; Divisoria & our daughter church at Sinili. It’s really hard for us coz our youth service every Friday is not growing for the past months, I think it started last year. So it’s over 5 months our youth service is not growing. And in one of our meetings, the core group of our church suggests that we should only have once a month youth service, with our outreaches & daughter churches.

So we made plans & preparations about this big event. This is the first time we’ll do this, hehe. Along the preparations, we really encountered problems. I can see the youths are worried & some like pressured, nervous at the same time excited about this event. One thing that we really had a problem is on the decorating our venue, the main hall of the church. Suggestions here & there, some of the youths are complaining to me about other youths, behavior problems. But I’ll not get into details. But by the grace of the Lord, we finished the decoration. :D Then at Friday afternoon, we had a meeting & we dealt with the problems we encountered during the preparation time, especially on the complaints & God fixed it. :D

It’s hard to plan & to prepare for something big, coz within it there will be problems we will encounter. :D But there is one thing that really encouraged me during those times. By His grace, God fixed my eyes on the event on the good thing that will happen on our celebration and not on the problems on the preparation. :D God does not wants us to focus our eyes on the problems but on the reward after the problems. :D

So, what really happened at this big event? We had special #'s from our outreaches, like the usual service but very different, & a promotion of our TFC. :D oh especially our theme was our vision: "Santiago's youth, transformed into God's likeness". Our heart is that every youth in Santiago be saved & especially be transformed into God's likeness. The mandate that God has given to our church is to "Saturate Santiago" & we want to prepare Santiago for the coming & staying of the Lord. God has done great things that night, I believe that he has touched the right people for this vision. God is the God of this city. Santiago is for the Lord. To God be all the glory! :D

Blessings for CCS Main Generations, :D

Net is back again. :D

Net is back again. :D

Hello every body, we have gone I think for over a month and we’re sorry for that, hehe. Well, for the past month our net is down. And praise the Lord we have net again, it’s obvious :D, and we’ve switched to PLDT. :D it’s good and it’s faster.

Many things have happened in the youth department this past month, especially on our relationships, between the core leaders. It’s hard to serve the Lord when our relationships with each other is not right, when our feelings for each other are sooooo heavy. This has gone in our youth department for a very long time, but in a time that I haven’t planned to talk to the persons that makes it heavy for me & for the other leaders, God worked & those persons came to us and talked to us about certain things for the 1st anniversary celebration of the youth department and it led to a situation that we talked about the problem we are experiencing and w/ a humble heart we said sorry to each other and forgave each other, and we moved on. :D

If you are experiencing this kind of situation don’t give up. Before that day we have said sorry to each other, it really came to a time that I am so discouraged and worn out for all of the things that are happening in my life that I said to God “Lord, replace me!” but God worked in my life and I remembered His promises unto my life and I kept hold of it and prayed that no matter what happens I’ll never give up. Do not give up!

After that, I have planned to have an open forum for the core leaders but then, I inquired to my pastor about it and he asked that, “what does open forum results into?” and he said that “it will only make things more worst than before. Don’t bite each other! It is better to say sorry for the things you have done.” So I have taken my pastor’s advice and everything worked out in our youth department. Praise the Lord! And right now, the big problems are gone and just a little is left. And now, we’re working freely and joyfully. Serving the Lord is not merely about spirituality but it is also about relationships within our church. Being in good terms with the persons in the church, especially the leaders, makes it more enjoyable and uplifting the serve the Lord. :D

Our next blog will be about the celebration of our 1st anniversary of our youth department last night. So don’t forget to check our blog again these days. :D have a blessed week to all. God Bless You All! :D

2009 Plans &Youth Service United

2009 Plans
& Youth Service

Hello there, hope you had a blessed week. we've had a great week here. Especially the outreaches. :D We have now 3 outreaches & there's still more to come. Ok, about what we have planned on February 23, 2009(Monday), we have talked mainly about the outreaches. It's very exciting and at the same time very challenging. :D

To tell you a little information about the outreaches. In every outreach it will be held by a Pastor, Youth Pastor, Worship Team, etc ... more like the church itself but not a church but an outreach. We'll not gonna be the pastors there! But the leaders & members will be the pastor, the youth pastor & the workers! :D whooo! Praise The Lord!!! Right now, there are so many open doors for us. Outreaches are being added every week. and this week, we'll open one at Rizal, Santiago City. Praise the Lord! God is really moving & He is beginning to Saturate Santiago bit by bit. We believe that santiago will be Saturated & will be transformed, Santiago is for Christ!!!

On May 16, 2009. Guess what??!! It's the 1st year anniversary of our youth service, :D. praise the Lord! And on that day it will be the beginning of our once a month Youth Service United. All the outreaches, our daughter churches (Cornerstone Church Sinili & Cornerstone Church Salvador) and us will gather in one place, probably @ North Central School Ampitheatre, and have our Youth Service United(Afternoon). Whooo! :D There will be mini-concert, promotion of CCS Ministries, outreaches & promotion, special nos by TFC and especially evangelism. The purpose of our Youth Service United is to bring more youths to Christ. We're excited for it! Please pray for this event. :D Thank you for reading our blog. have a blessed week. God Bless!

Updates

Updates

Hello everyone! well, again, it's been a long time since we've post again. frankly to tell you all, it's hard for me to post. There's been a lot in my head lately. whew! so you've got to pray for us here about our blogging. i think last last week, before pastor Mark & his family have gone to Scotland. He was telling me about blogging, & I said we'll try our best to blog 2 times a week. :D hehe.

To update you first, we'll tell you about our family. Well, now mom has resigned in her work at the government. PRAISE THE LORD!!! :D We are very happy about it. :D I think mom was a bit worried what will our reaction will be, but I think she got it wrong. :D We're very happy about it. Now our family is serving the LORD! A prayer come true, coz dad was always talking about it while we were still on the other side. :D haha. God is so good! selah!

At church, everything's going great. youth service, cell groups, feeding programs, jail ministry, campus ministry is still going on and being a blessing, ;D praise the Lord! :D and now, new Cornerstone Churches are being planted, whooooo! :D just so great! Crusade last Tuesday @ Naggasican, SBTC w/ the TFC. many people are saved & accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord & Savior. :D God is soooo great! :D

And now the finale, :D hehe. Last summer, we had our first Summer School of Music and we've seen our hardships paid off. We have now a new drummer, praise God! :D & we expect to have more trained musicians, song leaders, back up singers, dancers & especially worshippers. :D Coz our goal for this year is to have 3 bands for worship team. We're soooooooooooooooooooooo excited about it! This Sunday will be the start of our screening. :D pray for us! pray for me also coz, I don't yet still know what my mom, dad & uncle's (the person who sponsored me for my studies, just want to say - salamat po tito!) decision is. if I'll take my summer classes or not. & if not, I'll not be teaching in the SSOMD at April 13 - May 11, 2009. :-( oh well, God knows what's best for us. :D

Ok! Hope you've been encouraged and challenged on what God is doing here at Santiago. We'll try our best to post twice or once a week. :D have a blessed day. Blessings from CCS main Generations. :D God Bless you all

Not Just An Audience But An Army

Not Just An Audience
But An Army!

Don’t know what to say. But we’re sorry for not posting so soon. :-( We’ve been all so busy this month for the launching of our Theatre For Christ (TFC) yesterday (January 31, 2009). Finally it’s finished, hehe. It’s very tiring. But it’s worth all what we have done. All of the crew are youths and we’ve seen their talents & commitment to the ministry. And it’s so good to see them being used by God in a special way.

You might see the whole content about Theatre For Christ (TFC) launching & production at this blogsite. http://ccnplaceofhonor.blogspot.com/
(this is the blog of Cornerstone Church Naggasican) Coz they are the one who pioneered TFC, Praise The Lord! Right now, they still don’t have any post but they will have one.

Pastor Marlou has said to us that we are in a time of war now. And yes we are, and this past month we’re being attacked by the enemy in every angle of our lives. But we are more than conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ. We’re so excited this year, about what God will do in Santiago City. We believe & hope that Santiago City will be Saturated for God. Praise the Lord. Santiago City will be transformed, whooo! Grabe! Through Street Pastors, TFC, Outreaches, Cell Groups, Campus Ministries & more. Last year at one of our overnight prayer meeting, God gave pastor Marlou a vision that a King (That is Jesus) is entering the City of Santiago. & every universities & schools is opening its doors for the King, and the King is entering in every school & universities. God wants to change this world and He is looking for someone who is willing to be used by God & who is willing to give up His life for Him & for His glory.

These past weeks, @ our youth services, we’re preaching mainly about giving up your life to Jesus, using your talents for Him & getting involved in the ministry to every youth who are attending the youth service & cell groups. Coz we want everyone to be involved. Not just an audience but an army, pastor Mark said. Pastor Marlou is saying to us, not just double the workers but triple it. We know God has big plans for Santiago & He also needs a big team. Give your life to Jesus, use your talents for Him & be involved in the ministry God has appointed you in.
Be Involved Now!

We've got to plan. :D & spend more time with God! :D don't worry this won't take too long, guess 1 year, joke. we'll post as soon as possible so you may know what we're up to & what God is doing here. :D be excited & be blessed. :D

Ok, may 2009 be the best year of your life. Go with the wave of God. :D Godblezyol, :D

Merry Christmas!!!

Let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas. :D

For to us a child is born,

Another Great Events, hehe

Another Great Events, hehe

Hello everyone. :D Praise God! We’ve been in for a very very very busy week. We have just had our Thanksgiving Celebration & Christmas Party last Sunday, it was great. A while ago, we’ve just bought toys & fruits for our Christmas outreach (don’t know really what is the name of that event, please tell me, hehe) on 25 to some of the hospitals of Santiago – they are De Vera’s hospital, Callang hospital & Southern Isabela General Hospital (SIGH). Pray for us as we go there. We’re all sooo excited about it. :D

Last Monday, we’ve launched our “Street Pastors” ministry (correct me pastor if I’m wrong about the title, hehe). It was great & so challenging & we want to be like Jesus! It’s hard to invite people to come into our churches, that’s why we’ve got to go to the them. Just like what our Lord Jesus did, He didn’t spent much of His time at church but He spent most of His time with the people outside of the church, people who are in need of care, of freedom, of healing, of life, of love & of salvation. Before we went to the market that afternoon, we first held a meeting @ CCS Main Church office. There Pastor Mark shared to us what Jesus did, not sure about the chapter & verses but it’s on the book of Luke, & we’re all encouraged, challenged & very excited. I’m a bit nervous but really challenged coz it’s my first time to do it. I think even the others, especially the youths. It was really great! We’ve been to many places, we shared how God loved them & how He gave His life for them. Some we’re not open about it but many are responsive & very open. We’ve prayed for them, we spoke peace, we prayed for their freedom, we lead them to the cross & we declared war to the enemy. We believe that Santiago City will be Saturated through this. We will prepare the way of the Lord in Santiago! Santiago City is for the Lord & He’s looking for someone who will stand up for Him, He’s looking for someone who is available – “Your availability is your best ability”. Will you stand up for Him at your school, family, neighborhoods, friends & work?

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Colossians 3:23-24

And also that night, Monday night, we’ve had bowling with my core group. We had a great time, Peter was with us. We have enjoyed it, :D. It was great. After that, we’ve gone to McDo to eat. :D & then we’ve gone home. Especial Thanks to the Ritchie & Strachan family who provided all our expenses & especially to God. :D

Have a blessed Christmas season. God Bless to all of you.
& to God be all the glory! :D

The Power To Choose

The Power To Choose

Praise the Lord! Last week, our brothers & sisters in God from Singapore came to have their missions trip here @ Santiago. We’re truly blessed by them, in the ministry they’ve helped us with, their support, the life they have shared with us, everything. :D A big big thanks to you all, TUO XIE NIE. :D We are looking forward to see you again some time. :D God Bless. And I think tomorrow, again, we have another friend coming here on Santiago, but they are not Singaporeans, they are Scottish, and they are a very very good friend of my dad. Hope everything’s gonna be ok coz, it’s color coding in Manila today. My dad & pastor Adonis have gone there with a service, don’t know what car, pray for them. :D Everyone’s excited on their visit here :D hehe.

Who likes to watch cartoons? Like Superman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Spiderman & etc. you know, there’s one thing in common for this extraordinary cartoons. They all have extraordinary powers. A few hours ago, this morning, I was in a battle with myself. Whether I will do this bad thing or not. But then suddenly, praise God, God spoke to me. He said, “You have the power choose”. Yes God’s grace is available for us to be victorious & be more than conquerors but we have the power to choose, there are times we are tempted & we know, as Christians, we should not do it but still we have the power to choose. The power to choose what is right and what is wrong. The power to choose whether we choose God or choose satan. “Love the Lord Your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30. You know, refusing satan is one way we are saying to Jesus, Lord Jesus I love You. We must not just love our God with our hearts, our souls and minds, but also with all our strength. We have many brothers & sisters in Christ who are experiencing the same, or even worse situations that you have now. But you have the power to choose, Jesus or satan?

Have a blessed day. God Bless,

Great Events

Great Events

Yeah, we’re sorry if we haven’t blog for quite a long time. Hehe. But we’ve got some good news for you, :-D. Last week, we had visitors from England. They are only 4, and there is only one youth who has come, and the other three are twice and trice his age, strange huh. hehehe. But well, his name is Jack and he is one of the youth leaders on their church, Rotherham New Life Church. And throughout the week we have him come in our cell groups, feeding programs, BJMP Ministry(Jail Ministry) & youth services and fellowships, of course eating fellowship will never be forgotten, hehehe.

During their stay here, some of our youths have improved their social skills. Hahaha. Frankly, I was shocked at the same time impressed on how they approach our visitors. they're confidence has improved in tagalog figure "makapal na mukha nila" hehehe. Praise God :D. And last Friday, on our youth service, Jack shared the word of the Lord. And he shared about everyone is a leader & be careful who you follow. It was great, the word was great and especially the presence of God was really there. We can feel His presence that night, especially when pastor Marlou called for an altar call, many responded on the message. Then Jack came up on stage and said that if anyone wants to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, come in front, pastor Marlou was interpreting. Then suddenly, after that, the presence of God fall down In our midst, we can feel it and it’s so strong, I believe that some were touched deeply, some were baptized with the Holy Spirit and only 1 youth was slain. Praise the Lord. :-D whooo! To God be all the glory.

Last Sunday, it was our Cornerstone Church United. The program was long, hehehe. Praise God. :D we had 4 preachers from our Cornerstone Churches, they were Sis. Maribel Manango[Don not worry], Ptra. Terese Liday[Trusting the Lord], Ptr. Henry Rustia[Dream] and Ptr. Mark[Faith without deeds is useless]. It was great, the last preacher was pastor Mark and he summed up all what the others have preached and many responded on the message. It was great. :D praise God.

Starting today, the Tri-district conference has begun. Different people from 3 districts will come for this prayer conference. it's called Power Conference and it's theme is "SEEKING THE LORD, REAPING THE HARVEST."f Sefton Village ain't enough to accomodate such number of people for their rooms, so each church near Sefton will accomodate some people. Our church have accomadated 50 women, hehe. Pastor Marlou was talking to us about doing the extra mile, so tonight we'll be ushering them to the church, serving them, doing the best for them, doing the extra mile. so we're kinda excited tonight. hahaha. this people are serving the Lord and they deserve the best. :D

And lastly, this December 6, 2008, Saturday. We’ll have our evaluation and planning for our church, Cornerstone Church Santiago Main. We’ll report on what happened and our accomplishment this year 2008. And our plans for 2009, :D. If you can see the blog of our senior pastor of our church, CCS Main. He talks about the word he received from the Lord, “Saturate Santiago”. And our vision will come from there. I believe that Santiago is for Christ.

To God be all the glory!

INHERITANCE

INHERITANCE

Hello, sorry if we have only posted today ;-), hope we will post more often these coming days, hahaha, Pray for us. :D These past weeks, pastor Marlou has been talking to us about the dreams of God for us, our part in the church, and our inheritance. We we’re all so excited about it! And last night I’ve red about David’s Victories at 1 Chronicles 18, and as you read it, everywhere David go “The LORD gave David victory everywhere he went.” v6b, 13b; 2 Samuel 8:6b,14b. Isn’t that great, everywhere he went the Lord gave him victory, why? We know coz David did all that was right in the eyes of the Lord. It is the Lord who gives us victories! I know Santiago is our inheritance! And I believe that we will have victory wherever God wants us to be! Yes, there will be problems, small & great, but Santiago is our inheritance & it will come to past and all glory, honor & power belongs to God alone.

God has said to us that we should PREPARE the church & now we must SATURATE Santiago, we don’t know how but that is why we’ll gonna have a prayer & fasting day & overnight prayer meeting at December 12, 2008. Like David has done, he always inquire of the Lord. Pastor Marlou was saying to us last night, Sunday, pioneering is very hard, but it’s very exciting. We’re so excited about what God will do in our lives, in our families, in our church & in Santiago, or even more, the whole world. We don’t know what God has in store for us, but we know it’s great.

As sons of God we all have inheritance. What is your inheritance? What is your dream? God has given you a dream but "All our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them." – Walt Disney

Have a blessed day, Godblezyol

Cornerstone Youth Sports fest 2008 & Youth Service

Cornerstone Youth
Sports fest 2008
& Youth Service

Praise the Lord! Got some good news for you folks, haha. We have conducted a sports fest for the youth of Cornerstone - Cornerstone Youth Sports Fest 2008. We are led by pastor Jhun. Why have we conducted this? Because we’d like to know more & build our relationship with the youths in our cell groups & the youths who attend our youth service every Friday night @ 6 pm :D, frankly, we just want to have a longer fellowship with them, haha. So, after pastor Jhun has opened it to us, he opened it to the leaders & pastor’s of our church. And they said, “bakit kayo lang ay? Sali naman kami!” (why only you? Include us!) :D so, all have joined, Praise The Lord! So we asked permission to pastor Winston, and I think he agreed. :D, haha. Praise God!

This will be held at Sefton Village, Divisoria, Santiago City @ October 4, 2008, 7 am – 5 pm, registration is 20 pesos, our theme is: “BUILDING RELATIONSHIP, ENHANCING INTIMACY”. Why do we have this theme? Coz we’ve seen that over the last 4 years, if you are from Cornerstone Main you only mingle w/ Cornerstone Main young people not with the other youths of the Cornerstone, that is every united :-( sad. Yup, there’s a division upon the youths and we’d like to break that barrier. So we conducted this one day sports fest to build our relationship and enhance our intimacy w/ each other. Where there is unity God commands his blessings to come. to God be all the Glory, :D

And now, last Wednesday we have a meeting about this and it has taken us 2 hours to finish it, haha. It was great, the leaders of Cornerstone San Isidro and Naggasican was w/ us. It was great, we had a good time together, :D. We place leaders on each team, but now it’ll change coz there will be only 4 teams to be put up, as suggested by one of our leaders of our church. So it’ll be 4 teams. :D

Ok, about our youth service last Friday. It was great, for the first time on our youth service, ptra. Emmy Lou preached, hahaha. Praise God.She talked about “what does God expect of me?” @ Deuteronomy 10:12. And here she gave 5 points:

1. Fear God
2. Live according to His will
3. Love Him
4. Worship Him with all your heart and soul
5. Obey His commands

And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deuteronomy 10:12.

Missions Trip and Youth Service

Missions Trip
& Youth Service

It’s been along time since we’ve blogged again, hahaha. Well, our pastors are now at UK, praise the Lord. They are Pastor Mark, Pastor Marlou, Pastor Winston, Pastor James A. and Pastor August. They’re blessed, hahaha, kamusta po kau jan? Well, they are not just there to relax and to have vacation, they are there to make an impact at the churches there. :D, we’re missing them, hehehe. Pastor Marlou, miss ka na namin, hehehe Pasalubong ha. Joke lang. they are there for almost 1 month, long long time. :D gonna miss them so much. :D

Ok, last week on our youth service. Worship was really great; the presence of the Lord was there :D, and pastor Jhun shared the word of God, he shared about I Timothy 6:11-12

11”But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” I Timothy 6:11-12

One thing I remembered on His topic is, if we want to follow Christ, we must run away from all evil things. And He talked about Joseph on this. What Joseph did when he was tempted by Potiphar’s wife, he ran away from her. Day after day, Joseph was tempted but he keeps running away. In our life, temptations will never run out but we should always run away from it. The good news is that God is always by our side, that we can call for help when we are tempted, it is really hard if we do it by our own strength but with God’s grace and strength we can be victorious if we just cling to Him. In John 15:5 w/o Him we can do nothing, we must always be connected to Him no matter what. In Him we can be victorious, we can be winners, we can be conquerors.

Yes, there are times we fail, but the good thing is we never stop there.

God has big plans in our lives.
We just have to cling unto Him no matter what.
Blessings from CCS Generations Santiago Main!

Crown Of Glory

Crown Of Glory

Praise the Lord! As we are used to do a day before our Sunday Services, we have a core group meeting. We have fellowship, greeting each other of what happened to us that week, praising God, chatting, laughing, worshipping, eating and planning what to do on Sunday. We normally have pastor Jhun to create the program for our Sunday Service.

Tomorrow came. We had our morning service; I could hardly remember what happened that morning, :D. then it’s night service, I said to myself, ‘whatever happens I’ll worship God no matter what’. Then we started our night service. As we normally do, we get ourselves a ka-pre, that’s ka-prayer partner, hehehe, and we pray for the service, the people who’ll gonna come, the presence of God, etc. etc.

After that, we welcomed each other. As we normally do, again! We have fast and slow songs for the praise and worship, but that night, we go straight ahead to the slow song. Then pastor Marlou called for an altar call to all those who are hungry for more of God, then I think all of who are in the room came. Even though we don’t feel like going to the front but we know in our hearts that we are really hungry for more of God in our lives. We cried out to God, we expressed our hearts to Him and God touched us….

There are 3 words for us that night, the first is Holy. When pastor Marlou is saying it repeatedly, I began weeping and weeping and I was trembling with fear because of the Holiness of God, this is the first time I experienced this. I was like hiding my face beside the wall of the church that time, I don’t know what to do, and I just hid my face covering it with my hands. Then the second came word came, ‘Drink’. But unfortunately I didn’t respond to it, but others responded and they began to laugh in the Spirit for a short time. Then the last word came, God gave a vision to pastor Marlou. He saw two crowns and this is God’s crown of glory. Then pastor Marlou preached about this, and we responded to it, we go to the very front of the altar and we kneeled down, we raised our hands as surrender to God and we accepted it in faith and I felt a crown has been put in my head and I began to cry, I was filled w/ Joy that time. We we’re so filled with Joy.

Then we have testimonies that time, and some came testifying what God has done in their lives that night. And what is amazing is that almost all of us are experiencing trials in our lives, that the enemy is telling us that we are not worthy of serving God. But that night all of us were revived and so encouraged. Then pastor Jhun preached for a short time. Before we close our service, pastor Marlou said that we should do everything we can not to let the devil take this crown away! And that is our encouragement to you, go on for God. The enemy will only tell you lies. Focus your eyes unto Jesus. Godblezyol!
